Random Thought #62

Fireflies by Owl City.
Go listen. I like it. I've got it on repeat.

2 more water bottles to drink.

Work was fantastic today. I love my job. I love my patients. I love the patient's families. I love my coworkers.

I love it.

My head aches. I need to do my yoga. I actually did 3 rounds of the Sun Salutations this morning. That was pleasant. I felt stretched and relaxed.
So more yoga tonight. I'd like to go run tomorrow.

It's supposed to start raining again.
I'm okay with that. I like the rain.

I will be checking my mailbox religiously for the next week.
Obviously if it's a good letter, you will hear practically immediately.

If it's negative...
I might cry for a few days.

Actually I'll cry either way. This place, this town, this moment in my life is not permanent. It's not forever. Getting in will give me a timeline, a deadline, a ticket. So maybe 2 years is a long time. Maybe I took the long way around. Maybe I could have done things differently in my life, made better choices, and saved myself a whole world of regret.

But I didn't. So here I am. There's a reason for it. It's made me who I am, for better or for worse.
And slowly, the regret of what could have been is fading.
For now, at least.

So I'll wait for now. I'll bide my time, work and study, and someday, after waiting for so long, things might all fall into place.

unserious rambling from here on out.

I'm babysitting on Tuesday. exciting.

I might be going to meet some amazing ladies for drinks in 2 weeks- that excites me.

One bottle of water left. Then I can go to bed.

And wake up early. To do homework and yoga and run.

Or I might wait up for the storms.

I LOVE OWL CITY!!!!!!!!! Do you have all of his music, or have you just heard Fireflies? He played in Dallas tonight and will play again tomorrow and the tickets were sold out a long time ago and i'm so bummed :( but not only is he a phenomenal musician, but he also loves Jesus, which, in turn, makes me love him even more! aahhh, so good :)
